To combat cabin fever during Sydney's almost 2 - 3 months of lockdown I often took walks around the city taking the opportunity to observe and sketch some of Sydney's less know iconic buildings. Here's a snap shot of some of these:
Squidinki was commissioned by University of Technology (UTS) to create a range of products featuring illustrations of their world class range of architect designed buildings making up their inner city campus. These include the Brutalist landmark UTS Tower on Broadway, UTS Central home, the iconic Dr Chau Chak Wing Building designed by the renowned architect Frank Gehry for the UTS Business School, the Vicki Sara Building and the dramatic Faculty of Engineering and IT Building. The range of products includes a foldable tote bag, eco-bamboo keep cup, a coaster set and porcelain plates.
As a special unique gift for customers staying at the Holiday Inn at The Rocks (now the Ridges), Squidinki was commissioned to create a tote bag featuring an illustration of the hotel's pool area. Having an exceptional view of Sydney Harbour, Max illustrated the pool area in all its glory with Australian animals enjoying the luxury of the facilities and the amazing view.

Grab a coat and take a wander through The Rocks and see if you can spot the Squidinki projections. For the second year in a row, Max's illustrations are featured along Nurses Walk, Surgeons Court and interactive projections along Suez Canal.
