The year started with large parts of Australia destroyed by megafires. These fires eventually destroyed a billion animals and drove many species to the brink of extinction. In response, here at Squidinki, with our love of all Australian animals, we have created a new collection of eco-bamboo products with a share of profits donated to WIRES.
WIRES Wildlife Rescue is the largest wildlife rescue and rehabilitation charity in Australia. It is a non-profit organisation providing rescue and rehabilitation for all native Australian fauna.

The Iconic Tasmanian devil is endangered due to a devastating and contagious cancer called Devil Facial Tumour Disease (DFTD) which has seen a loss of over 80% of wild devils. The Save the Tasmanian devil Appeal is the central fundraiser for the Tassie devil, administered by the University of Tasmania. The Appeal's fundraising efforts provide support for both research and management projects that contribute to the key aim of Save the Tasmanian Devil Program to keep Tasmanian devils alive in the wild.
